LANDSCAPING
INTERIOR
AMA has been commissioned to carry out architectural design works for a luxury residential villa to be constructed on the Palm Jumeirah Island. Designing the Villa was an ambitious task where AMA team have endeavored to come up with an avant-garde concept that challenges the conventional forms of residential structures found in the region. The Concept Design presented also attempts to reflect the spirit of innovation and creation that is witnessed in Dubai and evident by the location of the Villa itself, The Palm Jumeirah Island.
Interior spaces were juxtaposed in a manner reflecting the design language of the villa’s exterior and taking into consideration the client’s preferences regarding scale of spaces, entry sequence and level of privacy. The staircase is the center piece of the interior space where it sits in a double height volume and serves as a conduit for experiencing the villa starting from the entrance all the way to the Majlis at the second floor.

MASTERPLANNING
AMA developed a design to provide great views over the nearby golf course and park, within an efficient and contemporary building.
We kept the planning simple, modular and linear to achieve this within a massing that made best of the site. We minimised the number of unit types to make development quick, easy and simple for Emaar Sales and the Design team.
For the elevations, we looked to keep this simplicity and elegance, whilst introducing a subtle and fresh approach that allows the units to make the most of the views whilst respecting privacy and solidity.
Our proposed facade is a simple arrangement of linear balconies with a slight taper in section, arranged around the plan. They are located as needed for the units, with a continuous horizontal band wrapping around this. This could be a GRC profile, or extruded aluminium.
The slab edges are covered in solid white cladding to help emphasise this horizontality. The glazing is broken by solid dark grey panels (GRC) to limit the transparency. These also vary every 4 floors.

MASTERPLANNING
AMA was asked to take the ‘Collective’ co-living product offered by Emaar into a new project for the golf course facing site in Dubai Hills Estate.
Making full use of the park in front of the building and the views to the course, the project is a highly efficient building creating a community around its shared spaces on ground floor and podium level.
The project features generous facilities for living for all users - a co-working space, café, a library, cinema, games room, yoga room and outdoor gym.
The facade treatment is simple yet modern and elegant. Combined with the small sized units, it allows the developer to sell the units at a very competitive pricing level with high quality spaces and functions.
The project was delivered on a super-fast track time-line, successfully launched within 12 weeks of project initiation.
